Editorial Standards

The independence, sourcing, corrections and review standards used by the Brinexalto editorial desk.

01

Independence and selection

Games are selected for reader usefulness, variety and relevance—not because a publisher paid for visibility. Brinexalto does not sell rankings, conclusions or favourable wording. If access, travel or another material benefit is provided for a review, it must be disclosed beside the resulting work.

02

Accuracy and attribution

Writers distinguish direct observation, sourced fact and editorial assessment. Product specifications and access details are checked against primary sources where possible. Quotes and distinctive reporting are attributed. We do not fabricate testing, user experiences or consensus, and promotional claims are not presented as verified facts.

03

Fairness, safety and conflicts

Critical conclusions should be specific, proportionate and tied to observable behaviour. Publishers may provide factual context but do not approve conclusions. Contributors must disclose personal, financial or professional relationships that could affect coverage. We avoid publishing private data, security details that enable abuse or unsupported allegations.

04

Corrections and meaningful updates

A correction request should identify the page, disputed statement and supporting source. We assess the current product rather than changing text merely because a party dislikes a conclusion. Clear factual errors are corrected promptly; substantial changes should be reflected in the review date or an editorial note.
